Last year, Dr. Baio was an honorary member of the 2013 Futures in education golf outing. The Annual event helps raise money to aid underprivileged kids and financially strapped parents afford a quality catholic education for their children. Last years event managed to raise over $400,000.
Dr. Baio and Nick Vendikos ( Director of Development for Futures in education) along with Middle weight champion Peter Quillen and his lovely wife Allison at last years golf outing.
This year, Dr. Baio has been named a committee member. He hopes to bring his ideas and resources together to help this years event exceed expectations.
