Sadam “World Kid
On April 25 , 2015 local boxing talent, 2008 Olympian, and current welterweight contender Sadam “World Kid” entertained NYC and a world wide HBO audience. Sadam fought California native Francisco Santana on the co-feature of the Kilitschko vs Jennings card at Madison Square garden.
Working His Way Up
Since signing with Golden boy Promotions back in 2013 Sadam has slowly been climbing up the welterweight rankings. He won the WBO inter-continental belt vs New Jersey native Jeremy Bryant last summer. He defended the title vs Luis Carlos Abregu in a fight most thought Sadam couldn’t win if it turned into a fire fight. Sadam proved most wrong by stopping Abregu. Now with his recent victory vs Santana, Sadam won the WBA International belt and is currently at the top of the standings in both the WBA and WBO.
In the Future
Sadam will be paying close attention to next months WBO title matchup between Timmy “Desert Storm” Bradley and Jessie Vargas. We wish him well in his next fight. We know each one will be bigger from here on out.
