Salute to the weekend warriors.

We all know how difficult it is to fit exercise

into a busy life schedule.

Telling someone to schedule it in

like any other daily appointment is easier

said then done.

This might be one reason why

weekend warriors have  grown

in numbers over the past few years.

And while recommended exercise

dosage is 30 min most days of the week,

some only have the weekend to cram in

that vital, essential physical activity we need

to lower cardiac risk.

A new study pins the weekend warrior

against a standard workout program.

The following study shows

that being a weekend warrior

may be sufficient enough to keep

cardiac risk down.
