Chiropractors believe in the body’s inert ability to heal itself. Our job it to help eliminate some of the stresses needed to let the body do its job. One very powerful tool in our arsenal is meditation. The power of concentration and positive thought have shown to release endorphins which aid in the body’s healing ability. There are many different types of meditation to choose from. In my practice I have found the deep breathing of yoga and the power of prayer to be very useful in aiding patients get not just get through momentary pain, but also the harshness of the world we live in.
